Dear Team Bryant Families,
I have recently signed up for the Blues Bookworms program! Here’s how it works:
Each month, students record the number of minutes read using the Student Tracker Calendar (provided on the purple sheet). Forms should be initialed by a parent/guardian and submitted to teachers at the end of each month.
Students that read a total of 1,000 minutes or more by January 31 will score with a buy one, get one ticket voucher to the Blues Bookworms game of their choice on Monday, February 20 vs. Florida or Monday, March 27 vs. Arizona. Those students will be recognized as a group on the Scottrade Center scoreboard and will have the opportunity shoot on goal after the game.
A special ticket discount will be available for family members, teachers and students that did not reach 1,000 minutes.
The overall top reader from each grade level will receive four (4) FREE Plaza Level Blues tickets to the Monday, February 20 vs. Florida game. The top readers will also be featured on the big screen during the game.
Every class that reaches or goes beyond the goal of 250 minutes per month per student will be entered into a drawing for a Blues celebrity appearance. One classroom will be randomly selected each month to win a visit.
Students received this information sheet, a calendar tracking form, and a Blues bookmark for the program yesterday. This is a completely optional program but all are encouraged to participate.
Let’s get reading!
